EU Projects- Innovation

On January 27th, the Erasmus+ co-funded project “Navigating AI Regulations: A Practical Guide” (Project No: 2024-2-DE02-KA210-VET-000287096) held its first online Kick-off Meeting, marking a significant milestone in this forward-thinking initiative. Designed to equip trainers and freelancers in the creative industry with essential AI knowledge, digital skills, and EU policy awareness, the project unites two dedicated partners—INI-Novation GmbH and Budakov Films.

With a strong focus on AI regulations, particularly the AI Act, this initiative aims to foster responsible AI adoption, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation within the creative sector.

Laying the Groundwork: Productive Discussions & Strategic Planning

Moderated by INI-Novation GmbH as the project lead, the Kick-off Meeting was both dynamic and highly productive, setting the foundation for a structured and collaborative implementation. Key discussions revolved around core aspects such as project management, dissemination strategies, and quality assurance, ensuring a solid framework for achieving the project’s objectives effectively.

At the heart of the initiative are three main activities:

  • Activity 1: Defining Training Scope & EQF Level 3 Alignment
The project will develop a well-structured training program that aligns with recognized educational standards, equipping participants with practical competencies in AI regulations.
  • Activity 2: Creating “AI-Driven Creativity: Advanced Training for Digital Innovators”
This tailored training program will feature structured modules and instructional videos covering AI regulations, risk management, compliance, transparency, and data governance in the creative industry.
  • Activity 3: Hands-On Training & Community Engagement
Through interactive workshops and practical events, trainers, freelancers, and stakeholders will have the opportunity to apply AI knowledge effectively in real-world scenarios.

A Synergistic Partnership for AI Education

A key focus of the meeting was leveraging the unique expertise of each partner to maximize the project’s impact. INI-Novation GmbH, with its extensive background in digital innovation and AI regulatory frameworks, will play a leading role in structuring the training content. Meanwhile, Budakov Films, renowned for its expertise in digital creativity and educational content production, will spearhead the development of engaging learning materials.
